DAV Public School NH3 NIT Faridabad celebrated Children’s day on 14 November 2022 with great festive
fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. As Children’s day is
celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was extremely fond of children, the
programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion.
The children’s day programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously
for a complete entertainment. The programme began with a special assembly followed by an
informative and inspirational speech, poems and enactment by students of classes VI –IX.
To make the day more special and entertaining, the school also organised picnic for classes LKG to II to
Town Park. Hawan was organised which was attended by classes III to V and thereafter they watched
movie – Dhanak which was enjoyed by all the students.
Cricket match and Volleyball match was organised for classes VI to XII which was highly appreciated and
was a grand success. With such a vast arena of cultural events and fun filled activities, it has proved to
be a memorable day for the students.
School Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya appreciated and applauded the commendable efforts of all the
participants in different activities.
To sum up, the entire program was a grand success.
